Stay tuned for more information about our 2nd annual E-Waste Collection Day scheduled for Saturday 1 June 2013.

KEBA and Scott Environmental partnered with 'Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (W.E.E.E.)' to collect and properly dispose of electronic waste on Saturday 2 June 2012 from 9am - 3pm at the Rideau Town Centre during our E-Waste Collection Day. KEBA also hosted a complementary BBQ for everyone who brought their electronic waste that day. Although it was a cool, wet day, that didn't stop Kingston East residents from coming out in strong support. In total, 4,150 kilograms of e-waste was diverted from landfill sites. This equated to $207.50. KEBA members approved a donation of $500 that will go toward a green project for the new Kingston East School, École Sir John A. Macdonald Public School on St. Martha Street that opened to students in November 2012. A huge thanks to all Kingston East residents who emptied their basements and to KEBA members for spearheading and overseeing this event.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our KEBA Speed Networking event on 13 October 2011 at Myles Acres. Getting to know fellow Kingston East business owners and exchange ideas was worthwhile and beneficial.
